Anchovy Garlic Pasta

Preparation time:


  • Capellini pasta
  • 3 Anchovies
  • 4 Garlic cloves
  • Bacon fat
  • 1 Can of fire roasted tomatoes
  • Parmesan cheese
  • Basil
  • Red chili pepper flake


Start with getting water to a boil and add salt! Next grab a pestle and mortar and grind the garlic and anchovies into a paste. Place a frying pan on medium heat and add bacon fat, once it starts to melt add the paste and stir occasionally for 2-3 minutes, add tomatoes. Once everything has combined and is simmering add pasta to the water. Capellini cooks fast (2-3) minutes. Drain Capellini, toss in olive oil, and place in pan until well combined. Plate and top with red chili pepper, parmesan cheese and basil.
